Sports Training

Our sports performance program offers individual and group performance training for clients of all activity levels. A comprehensive assessment will be conducted on the first visit in which a program will be created based on the clients needs. Following sessions will include one-to-one training with our expert staff. The comprehensive 3 phase program is outlined below:

Phase I (Preparation)

This phase introduces the client to a basic program of circuit training, flexibility, and cardiovascular conditioning. The focus is to build a basic level of fitness and prepare the client for more intermediate activity. The goal of phase 1 is for the client to develop a working knowledge of the body and understand how to maintain a basic level of physical fitness.

Phase II (Intermediate)

This phase introduces the client to more intermediate activity including free weights, interval training, and injury prevention. The focus is to build an intermediate level of fitness and prepare the client for higher level athletic activity. The goal of phase II is for the client to understand the basic principles of strength training, flexibility, cardiovascular exercise, and injury prevention.

Phase III (Advanced)

This phase introduces the client to advanced athletic activity that is designed to enhance performance for the chosen activity or sport. Training may include speed/agility training, strength & conditioning, balance training, power lifting, and plyometrics. The focus is to build an advanced level of fitness that is specific to the clients chosen athletic activity or sport. The goal of phase III is for the client to understand advanced concepts for performance training, strength & conditioning, and injury prevention.
